Novak Lock & Security in Texas

Novak Lock & Security handles locksmith work across Texas under one rule that’s been in place since 2002, and our Novak Lock Security services follow that same standard nationwide: the dispatcher quotes a firm price on the phone, and the technician is contractually prohibited from changing it at the door. That single clause separates us from the bait-and-switch call-out operations that have given the trade its reputation. Since 2002, we’ve installed or serviced more than 60,000 locks, keys, and systems, every one with a written price before work started and a documented photo record when we left. Texas homeowners get the full picture before they ever open the door.

Why Texas Homeowners Choose Novak Lock & Security

Texas homeowners who bought between 2015 and 2025 paid real money for their houses, and they approach home services the same way they approach any significant purchase: they want the number before they commit. So we give it to them. The price is quoted on the phone and written down before anyone touches a cylinder. No dispatch fee surprises, no overnight surcharge discovered at the door, no “I’ll have to see it first” opener. Our technicians arrive as background-checked, uniformed professionals working to the Haven Standard, the same documented quality framework applied across all ten Haven brands. At the end of every job, you get a photo record of exactly what was found and what was done, and every installation, rekey, or emergency call carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it’s not done right, we make it right. We’re factory-authorized on Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, Abloy, Baldwin, and Schlage hardware, and we’ll review any competitor’s written estimate at no charge. Texas heat and coastal humidity have their own effects on lock hardware, and our techs know which cylinders hold up and which ones don’t. If you’re locked out at two in the morning somewhere in suburban Texas, a live person answers the phone. Not a queue, not a callback window.

Backed by the Haven Family

Novak Lock & Security carries the Haven name, which means five published clauses govern every job we do in Texas: a written price before work starts, a real arrival window with a named technician, verified and background-checked crews, photographic evidence on every visit, and no upsell at the door. The Haven Standard is the condition of carrying the name, and we’ve worked to it on every job since 2002. A haven is somewhere nothing bad is going to happen to you. That’s the thing Texas homeowners are buying back when they call us.
