Novak Lock & Security in Montana

Novak Lock & Security has been the locksmith Montana homeowners call when they want the price settled before the van rolls. Since 2002, every lock installed, every key cut, every rekey job across the state has started the same way: a written price agreed on the phone, and a technician who is contractually prohibited from changing it at the door. That single rule is the foundation the business was built on, and it is why we carry the Haven name. No bait-and-switch dispatch games, no surprise invoice after the cylinder is already out of the door.

Why Montana Homeowners Choose Novak Lock & Security

We have installed or serviced more than 60,000 locks, keys, and security systems since 2002, and every one of those jobs has two things in common: a written price before we started and a documented record when we left. The dispatcher quotes a firm number on the phone, and the technician is not allowed to move it on the doorstep. That has been the operating rule for over two decades. Montana winters are hard on locks. Cold snaps freeze tumblers, road salt tracks into deadbolts, and seasonal homes sit empty for months with moisture working into cylinders. When a lock fails in January, you do not want to stand in a driveway arguing about a service call fee. You want a named technician, a real arrival window, and a price you saw in writing before anyone touched a screwdriver. We send background-checked, uniformed technicians on every visit, and when the job is done you receive a photo record of exactly what was found and what was changed. That is not an upgrade. It is procedure. We are factory-authorized on premium hardware including Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, Abloy, Baldwin, and Schlage, from entry-grade deadbolts to high-security cylinders, priced in writing before anyone turns a key.

Backed by the Haven Family

Novak Lock & Security is independently owned and operated, and it works to The Haven Standard: five published clauses covering the price in writing before work starts, a real arrival window with a named technician, verified crews with license numbers published, photographic evidence on every visit, and no upsell at the door. If it is not done right, our 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right. Bring us any competitor’s written estimate and we will review it with you at no charge. That is what the Haven name means in Montana: the condition you are buying back is certainty.
