Emberly Chimney Cleaners in Maryland

Emberly Chimney Cleaners handles chimney cleaning and inspections for homeowners across Maryland, from the dense neighborhoods around Baltimore and the DC beltway to the older housing stock in the middle of the state. Every appointment includes a camera-scan inspection built to NFPA 211 Level 2, a written price before any work starts, and a documented photo record of what we found when we were done. That is not an add-on package. That is the default on every visit, and it has been since 2009, under Haven Standard Clause 4.

Why Maryland Homeowners Choose Emberly Chimney Cleaners

Maryland winters put real demand on chimneys. Temperature swings between freeze and thaw, humid summers, and the creosote that builds up in wood-burning fireplaces all mean a chimney that was fine last March may not be fine by November. Homeowners here tell us the same thing over and over: they have had a sweep look up the flue with a flashlight, tell them everything looks good, and leave with no record of what was actually seen. Emberly does not work that way. Since 2009, every visit has included a camera run down the flue and a documented photo record delivered when the job is finished. The camera finds what a flashlight misses: cracked flue tiles, gaps in the mortar, animal nests, or a liner that has started to separate. Then we show you the images, explain what they mean in plain language, and put a written price in front of you before anything is cleaned or repaired. The same applies to the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something is not done right, we make it right. More than 38,000 chimneys have been inspected and cleaned this way, every one with a written price before work started and a photo record when it was done. If you have a written estimate from another company, bring it to us. We will give you a free second opinion on it.

Backed by the Haven Family

Haven was formed in 1998 to buy good home-service companies and leave them alone, not to absorb them. The point was never to build a national chain. The point was to write down the five things customers actually complain about, and hold every company to them. Those five clauses are the Haven Standard: the price in writing before work starts, a real arrival window with a named technician, crews that are licensed, insured and background-checked with the license number published, photographic evidence on every job, and no upsell at the door. Emberly Chimney Cleaners is independently owned and operated, and every job it does in Maryland carries the same five clauses. The name is the promise. A haven is somewhere nothing bad is going to happen to you, and the standard is the condition of using it.
