Emberly Chimney Cleaners in Connecticut

Emberly Chimney Cleaners handles chimney cleaning across Connecticut with the same standard on every job: camera down the flue, written price before work starts, and a documented photo record when it’s done. We clean wood burning fireplaces, wood stoves, and oil or gas flues across the state, from colonial era homes with terra cotta liners to newer construction with stainless systems. Connecticut winters put real demand on chimneys, and Emberly works to the NFPA 211 Level 2 inspection standard on every visit, not just when something looks wrong.

Why Connecticut Homeowners Choose Emberly Chimney Cleaners

Since 2009, Emberly has inspected and cleaned more than 38,000 chimneys, and each one came with a written price agreed before anyone started work. That matters in Connecticut, where creosote builds up fast during long heating seasons and a neglected flue becomes a hazard by February. We made camera-scan documentation the default in 2009, years before insurers or regulators asked for it. That practice became Clause 4 of the Haven Standard: Evidence on every job. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed, and you’ll get a text when they’re on the way with the name of the person coming to your door. We carry parts and materials from DuraFlex, HeatShield, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield, sourced through Haven’s buying network to keep pricing honest for Connecticut homeowners. Every visit includes a documented photo record showing what we found, and every job is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it’s not done right, we make it right.

Backed by the Haven Family

Emberly Chimney Cleaners is independently owned and operated, and carries the Haven name because the owner agreed to all five clauses of the Haven Standard: the price in writing before work starts, a real arrival window with a named technician, crews that are licensed, insured and background-checked, photographic evidence of what was found on every visit, and no upsell at the door. Haven was formed in 1998 to keep good home-service companies good. The name means what it says: a haven is somewhere nothing bad is going to happen to you. That promise applies to every Emberly job across Connecticut, and it’s been kept since 2009.
