Emberly Chimney Cleaners in California

Emberly Chimney Cleaners handles chimney cleaning and inspection across California under the Haven Standard, the five-clause agreement every Haven company signs before carrying the name. What that means for a California homeowner is simple: a written price before anyone starts, a named technician who arrives in a real window, and a documented photo record of what was found in the flue. Emberly has inspected and cleaned more than 38,000 chimneys since 2009, and every one of those visits ended with the same thing: written evidence of the work, not a verbal summary.

Why California Homeowners Choose Emberly Chimney Cleaners

Emberly made camera-scan documentation the default on every chimney visit back in 2009, years before insurers or regulators began asking for it. That practice later became Clause 4 of the Haven Standard, and it is the reason California homeowners who research before they call tend to land here. A standard flashlight glance up the flue tells you almost nothing about the liner, the mortar joints, or what is building up behind the damper. A camera scan shows it, and Emberly sends you the photos. The inspection follows NFPA 211 Level 2, which is the trade’s real standard for a documented look at the interior of the chimney. Materials come from DuraFlex, HeatShield, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield, sourced through Haven’s buying network specifically to keep prices honest for the customer. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every job: if it is not done right, Emberly makes it right. California homeowners who bring a competitor’s written quote also get a free second opinion, because the price in writing is the entire point of how this company operates. No “call for a quote.” No number that changes after the technician is already in the house.

Backed by the Haven Family

Haven has operated since 1998 on a simple observation: most home-service complaints are not about workmanship. They are about not knowing the price before the van arrives, not knowing who is coming into the house, and not knowing what was found or what was done. Emberly Chimney Cleaners works to all five clauses of the Haven Standard on every job across California, and the promises are written down: the price in writing before work starts, a real arrival window with a named tech, licensed and background-checked crews, photographic evidence on every visit, and no upsell at the door. Emberly is independently owned and operated. What Haven contributes is the standard, the documentation system that proves the work, and the buying power that keeps the price fair.
