Emberly Chimney Cleaners in Alaska

Emberly Chimney Cleaners handles chimney cleaning and inspection work across Alaska under the Haven Standard: a written price before anyone starts, a named technician at a real arrival window, and a documented photo record of what we found when the job is done. Alaska’s heating season runs long and hard, and a chimney that worked fine in October can be a different story by February. We photograph the flue from top to bottom on every visit, hand you the record, and stand behind the work for 365 days.

Why Alaska Homeowners Choose Emberly Chimney Cleaners

Alaska homeowners live with fires burning for months at a stretch, and creosote builds differently here than it does in warmer climates. Cold flues and long burns mean deposits form faster, and the difference between a safe chimney and a hazard is something you should be able to see, not take on faith. That’s why every Emberly visit includes a camera-scan inspection to the NFPA 211 Level 2 standard, not a flashlight held up the firebox. We’ve inspected and cleaned more than 38,000 chimneys since 2009, and every single one left with a written price agreed before work started and a documented record when work was done. The photo file isn’t an upsell, it’s standard practice under Haven Standard Clause 4, and we’ve been doing it that way since before insurers or regulators started asking for it. If you get a written estimate from another company, bring it to us for a free second opinion. And if our work isn’t done right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed, their license number is published on the page, and you’ll know who is coming before they arrive. Materials come from DuraFlex, HeatShield, Gelco, Olympia Chimney, Famco, and Copperfield, sourced through Haven’s buying network to keep prices honest. We don’t ask you to call for a quote. The price is written down before any work begins, on every job, no exceptions.

Backed by the Haven Family

Haven was formed in 1998 to buy small home-service companies that were already doing the work properly and were about to be bought by someone who would stop. Emberly Chimney Cleaners is independently owned and operated, and what Haven contributes is the standard we agree to work to and the documentation system that proves it. Clause 1 gets the price in writing. Clause 4 gets you the evidence. Every Emberly job in Alaska carries all five.
